Where is the country of Lithuania located? Lithuania is the southernmost country of the three Baltic states on the Baltic Sea. The summer months are quite sunny and warm. Especially in July, the mercury can rise to well above 25 degrees. In August the amount of rain increases, after which the summer weather is over in September. In the capital Vilnius it can sometimes get warmer than thirty degrees during the summer months under the influence of high pressure areas.
