RetroArch, Multisystem Emulator, Go Back to Google Play: New Interface, Performance…

A few years ago there was a very exciting project for the emulation world: RetroArch. A kind of Center of emulators where we could load games from different systems without leaving the application. All this with a very attractive interface and with the bonus of being able to use it from different devices, including Android.

A couple of years ago he debuted, but at the time it was withdrawn from Google Play. Quiet, nothing strange happened. Simply its developers decided to take time to revitalize the project and now, again by all large with a new version full of novelties. We have them for you.

A lot of emulators under a single app

What stands out in this new version of RetroArch is the menu. Taken from the version of Raspberry Pi, are noticeable influences of what once was the PlayStation 3 and PSP menu. All very well organized with lots of settings. At the beginning it is hard to get used a bit to get all the options. This interface, eye, is not activated by default in Android, and we will have to enable changing the configuration.

This new version of RetroArch allows us to scan directories on your mobile and checked against a database, and create an ordered list with everything we have. In fact, even offers the option Download CD covers to see it in a more visual way. Programs, cores, this time does not come by default by what you will have to download them.

The good news, that Yes, it is that we can do this from the application and automatically update them. The process is quite simple and once we put to point with your ROMs emulator (can download demos and open source games from the app) all will be filmed.

RetroArch is not an emulator designed to open and play. The previous setting us makes it clear that its aim is to have a center to our liking and well ordered with a library of content. As if it were a console. Very useful for this app use so use it connected to a TV and a remote Bluetooth, or just less with the second to not fight us with frustrating touch controls.

The application is free, does not include payments within, no ads of any kind. Finally, we leave you with the list of platforms, and emulators that supports:
