Tips For Making Adhesive Wall With Scraps Of Fabric
These wall stickers can be made in various sizes and models, according to the mold we choose, and then applied on the wall without having to do a complete makeover in each environment.
And one of the ways to make this patch you can check below:
You Will Need:
Patchwork cotton fabric (they absorb better the gum);
Molds of your choice (the molds can be drawings of flowers, birds, etc. that you can get on the internet or in magazines);
How To Make Your Retail Sticker:
To prepare the gum, in a bowl mix together 3 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water. Then add a cup of boiling water, mix well and let cool.
As it cools, take a drawing template selected, cut and place on the flap of fabric.Then scratch the mould upside down on the back of the fabric (so that the design be in the correct position and the risk brands do not appear), crop and leave reserved.If the drawing is too big, use multiple flaps stitched, leaving the design much more fun.
Now to apply on the wall, position the fabric already cut where you will apply, immerse the paint roll on goma and apply over the fabric, always from the Center to the edges. The gum will fix the fabric on the wall, like a sticker.
The fabric has to be moist, and you will removing the excess gum with the dry cloth, and also cleaning the edges where the gum wall drain. And if the ends become loose apply more to gum paste.
Don’t worry if the drain, because while you are drying it is transparent. And after a while you can remove the patches of fabric with a damp cloth without harming the paint from your House.
Another cool tip is to use contact paper or double-sided tape to attach your drawings made in fabric flaps to the wall, and thus leave the House with a decoration more special.
