3 RECIPES CEREAL BARS TO MAKE AT HOME

1. CEREAL BARS WITH ALMONDS AND DRIED PLUMS

These bars promise to give you all the energy you need to endure the day. The recipe is from the blog Compassionate Cuisine.

– Ingredients –

  • 135g of oats
  • 70g of almonds
  • Sunflower seeds and hazelnuts q. b. (optional)
  • ½ Cup of dried plums (if they are very dry you can soak for some time)
  • 5 c. granulated sweetener (can use 4 c. of soup, syrup, rice and 1 c. tablespoon of molasses)
  • Cinnamon q. b.

– Mode of preparation –

  1. In the cup of the food processor, place the prunes and grind until you get a folder and add the sweeteners.
  2. To the part, cut the almonds into pieces.
  3. Then, add the oats, a pinch of cinnamon and – if you choose to use the sunflower seeds and hazelnuts.
  4. Then, mix in a bowl the prepared oats with the preparation of the plums with the sweetener and stir, involving everything very well.
  5. To line a form of English cake (approximately 10 by 20 cm) with parchment paper, and place there the mixture of the cereal bars and press with a spoon until smooth and uniform.
  6. Bake in the oven, pre-heated to 160ºC for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. When they are ready, remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. After you unmold and place in refrigerator.
  8. When they are cold cut and reserve in a closed container (the bars can withstand a week).

2. CEREAL BARS WITH BERRIES GOJI

– Ingredients –

  • 50g of flaked rice
  • 20g of millet (rice) tufted
  • 60g almonds
  • 30g of berries Goji
  • 30g of seeds sunflower
  • 30g of seeds pumpkin
  • 2 c. tablespoon of peanut butter or almond
  • ¼ Cup jelly, rice or other natural sweetener

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Chop the almonds into small pieces.
  2. Then, in a bowl, mix the flaked rice, millet tufted, the berries of Goji, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and set aside.

3. CHOCOLATE BARS AND OATS

– Ingredients –

  • 1 ½ cup of butter + 2 c. tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. tea vanilla essence
  • 1 ¼ cup of wheat flour
  • ½ C. tea baking soda
  • 2 cups of oats
  • 1 cup of chocolate half bitter
  • 2/3 cup of evaporated milk
  • ¼ Cup sugar
  • ½ Cup of chopped nuts

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Start by pre-heating the oven to 180ºC and grease a square board with butter.
  2. After you prepare the filling. You only need to melt two tablespoons of butter with the chocolate.
  3. Then, add the evaporated milk and ¼ of sugar.
